![]() Our bookshelves are bustling this semester thanks to the Molina Foundation! As a 2018 Book Buddies Grant Recipient, the Molina Foundation has provided Teachers’ Treasures with 18 palettes of books; that’s approximately 36,000 books valued at over $240,000. This treasure trove features titles from Disney Press, including Star Wars, Cars, and Frozen, for all reading levels. The selection is constantly changing as we unpack and will fill our book section for the next several months. Teachers, don’t forget to check it out on your monthly shopping trip to see what’s new! We also love seeing the impact these books make on your classroom. Here are a few excited readers submitted by one of our teacher shoppers. This year is bustling with some of the same great perks--like a free pint of Sun King and a shopping voucher for ALL educators--alongside some new additions. Joining the sponsor crew this year is Tito’s Vodka, and thanks to them you’ll also receive a drink ticket for a Bloody Mary to enjoy during your post-race celebration. And as always, this tasty morning will be overflowing with donuts, donated this year by Jack’s Donuts downtown location. Teachers' Treasures Resource Development Manager Alicia Van Rensberg was on hand to accept the donation, which brings Beyond Monumental's total support contribution to Teachers' Treasures over the past few years to $45,000. Each year Beyond Monumental generously supports Indianapolis-based organizations that serve education and youth causes. Other donations were presented to the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township, the Simon Youth Foundation, and the Indianapolis Public Schools Education Foundation.
