Teachers will once again be shopping our aisles starting the week of August 3--an event we’ve been preparing for all summer long. This is one of our busiest times of year, and it’s also one of the easiest times to get involved and give back!
Check out these three ways to support Teachers’ Treasures the next few weeks:
Gr8 Paper Push
We’re thrilled to have partnered with WISH-TV for a supply drive that includes individual giving and a fun corporate challenge with a big reward.
From July 27 through August 7, you can drop off supply donations at Financial Center First Credit Union locations throughout Indy. Our biggest wish list items include copy paper, construction paper, looseleaf notebook paper, and notebooks--items of which we can never have too many!
In addition, WISH-TV is generously giving an awesome incentive to businesses who register for their corporate challenge: the chance to win $10,000 advertising on their schedule.
To learn more details, including how to register for the corporate challenge, please visit WISH-TV’s Gr8 Paper Push page.
Community Support Day at Whole Foods
Grab your market totes and enjoy shopping for your weekly groceries while automatically supporting Teachers’ Treasures!
On Tuesday, August 11, we’ll be the official organization for Whole Foods’ Community Support Day. A total of 5% of sales from the day at the 86th Street (1300 East 86th St, Indianapolis) and Clay Terrace (14598 Clay Terrace Blvd, Carmel) locations will be donated--making a potentially HUGE impact on Indy’s teachers and kids.
FREE Download of Tori Kelly’s Song = Dollars in the Classroom
Target has long been an amazing supporter, and this year they’re making getting supplies in the classroom as easy as ABC.
For a limited time, download Tori Kelly’s “ABC” for free, and Target will donate $5 of school supplies to our partner organization, Kids in Need Foundation.
That’s $5 of life-changing supplies with the simple click of a button! Visit this page to download.
Looking for other ways to give back? Volunteers are always welcome, especially during the next few months of back-to-school season. Learn more about our opportunities here.
Be sure to help spread the word, and follow us on Facebook & Twitter for more exciting news and announcements!
